Got a special occasion to attend this summer, the this shawl is for you. Flicker is a shawl with garter stitch and simple lace. And no purling!

The garter stitch body knits up quickly, and beautiful lace diamonds decorate the border. Picot bind-off completes the delicate look.

You could knit this beauty in so many yarns. Studio Donegal Darnie would be stunning, offering a selection of gorgeous shades with a subtle tweed that would complement any outfit effortlessly. Or, opt for a playful, colourful piece with one of John Arbon's Exmoor Sock Yarn's beautiful hues. Each colour in the range would enhance the intricate lace pattern. Alternatively, consider a blend of Wee County Yarns Kinross 4ply and De Rerum Natura's Berenice for an indulgent creation. Such a mix of exquisitely soft yarns will craft a luxurious shawl that's sure to be the centrepiece of any gathering.

So for this kit I'm going to opt for the Kinross 4ply and Berenice option.
I have 6 colour suggestions to choose from but as ever feel free to chose your own combination just pop in the special instruction box at the check out.

1. White - Snowdrop & Orgeat
2. Pink - Seashell & Avoine
